Assessing and Managing Risk in Mental Health
This course is ideal for anyone working in an educational setting who wants to develop their understanding of supporting mental health needs and risk. It covers an introduction to risk and risk behaviours, how to assess, manage and respond to risks around self-harm and suicide, how risk is assessed in mental health, protective factors and harm reduction strategies, and the importance of staff support, supervision and debrief.
