Intro to Trauma Aware Practice

Trauma Aware Practice

Schools are reporting an increase in the number of children displaying signs of mental health difficulties and trauma. Poor attendance, disruptive behaviour and disengagement with school can be a cause of emotional, behavioural, or educational challenges, rooted in trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).

To understand the difficulties faced by traumatised children in school, teachers and education professionals must be equipped with the tools to help children manage the impact of their trauma – and this training session will help!
